QMRC volunteered to supply the implement valve and a new accumulator for the R2900G rebuild.
QMRC was commenced in December 2006, by Kurt Haensch and Damian McDonald. It has grown to become one of the leading mining rebuild centres in Australia.
Wayne Maiden is now a part owner of the business and the combined experience of Wayne, Damian and the Team is credited to the success of QMRC.
Wayne has a mechanical trade background with high diesel and hydraulic competencies. Wayne has been working in the mining industry for thirty years. Damian has fitting and machinery qualifications supported by strengths in diesel and hydraulic skills and has been working with mining equipment for over 30 years also.
The workshop management is supported by Robert Newport, an experienced tradesman with a dominant background in underground mine machinery. The majority of personnel have been with QMRC for close to 13 years. QMRC employ highly qualified staff who each share a commitment to quality and ongoing innovation.
QMRC has a firm belief in the importance of training and the incorporation of young people in our workforce. They are committed to the ongoing employment of apprentices with a focus on developing highly experienced tradesmen.
